Thursday afternoon the Netcong Fire Department responded to 134 Rt. 46 for the building fire. Firefighters found a fire in the rear of a vacant store with apartments in the rear. Firefighters made an aggressive attack and knocked down the fire before it spread to the rest of the building. Mutual aid was called from Budd Lake, Stanhope Bryam, Roxbury and Flanders fire companies. The fire damage two apartments and a basement storage area. Rt 46 was closed down for 2 hours as firefighters worked the fire. Photos By Kevin Maloney
